Watch for more details from us soon regarding an upcoming art show hosted by the Ucross Foundation that will feature a broad survey of abstract expressionist work by Harry Jackson.
The show opens Feb. 7 with a Feb. 21 reception, and will run through April 10.
This show will constitute the first major new look at Jackson’s abstract art since it received broad critical acclaim in the 1950s. It will include recent masterpieces from 1995 – 2006.
The show will also feature new commentary and analysis from artist and former Yellowstone Art Museum senior curator Gordon McConnell examining the importance of Jackson’s body of abstract work.
