The Buffalo Bill Historical Center, now called the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, Fellowship program will pay up to $5,000 to a scholar to come out to Cody and perform research on the west.  You can find the webpage and application form on their website at: http://www.bbhc.org/research/fellowship-program/

The Harry Jackson archives are available through Harry Jackson Studios for research.  These archives consist of Harry Jackson’s journals, over 100, sketchbooks, letters written and received, business records and extensive photograph and video collections.  Also included is his personal library which has an extensive collection of Fine Art books as well as poetry and philosophical works.

The deadline for applications is May 15, 2013.  Fellowship recipients will be notified by May 31, 2013.  There is not much time left to apply this year, but this is an annual program of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West so you can apply next year as well.
