In 1960 Mrs Lucile Mathews Brittingham, owner of the famed Lambs Head Ranch at Albany Texas visited my old studio at the Vignali-Tommasi Foundry in Pietrasanta, Italy.  She liked the little group in the Range Burial Composition showing a rider who’s saddle horse and another he is holding are fighting flies.  She wanted me to cast it seperately for her son.  I did.
